Mark might be a Guinness record-holder for the most ACL tears that a human has ever endured in his years before tackling CrossFit. But the injuries have been a motivator not just to move, but to move better, knowing when to work with a coach or modify for safety when necessary.
Trust us, it won’t! The people that train 3-5 hours/day are not like the rest of us. They calculate every calorie that enters their body and make tradeoffs that many of us could not imagine in order to compete at the highest level.
The dictionary defines a cult as “a usually small group of people characterized by devotion to a person, idea, object, movement, or work.”
Well, it looks like we could possibly be guilty of this one. As a community we are “devoted” to living the longest, healthiest life possible. We support one another in the good times and the bad, while lifting as many in our community as we possibly can.

We started Long Road CrossFit with one goal in mind: help our members achieve their physical potential through small group coaching, hard work and CrossFit principles. We get pretty excited about physical health and wellbeing. But we’re also passionate about creating a vibrant, supportive community.
Long Road CrossFit fully supports and honors our armed forces. If you are a veteran, active military personnel, or about to enter basic training, we offer a 15% discount on membership and Loft workout room access.

Our Elite Teens Training is a program designed for strength and conditioning for teens ages 9-18. Join today!
Tackle fitness on your own clock, from 6am – 7 pm. Access Long Road’s daily programming or work off your own plan, using the entire space when classes aren’t in session.
