PASSION for the community we serve.
First Responder and veteran Support
Going well beyond our 15% off first responder discount – we have secured past grants to allow for reduced memberships to first responders and veterans. We also have organized training for police in our area and continue to support policy that puts officer wellness – mental and physical – as a priority.
Thanksgiving Meals & Christmas Families
For many years, Long Road CrossFit has sponsored Thanksgiving Meals and Adopt-A-Family at Christmas in our community. With the belief that healthy family relationships is a pillar of health, we continue to expand this program using donated funds through Long Road Foundation.
Summer Strength Program
Starting summer 2022 for Champaign County teens ages 10-15 who need structure and healthy guidance during the summer – this 6 week program will take place 3 days a week and focus on the five pillars of health (physical, mental, relationships, nutrition, sleep) as well as leadership. Students will be encouraged to be active, engage with speakers, and play as a group. Reach out to us to recommend a participant or make a donation! We are actively seeking business sponsorships for this program.
Advancing Childrens Excellence
A partnership between Champaign Juvenile Courts and Long Road CrossFit was the beginning of an awesome program where students on parole are entered into CrossFit classes taken with their parole officer. This program builds relationships and confidence in these young people while providing a stable, healthy, and supportive environment. Long Road Foundation is committed to extending memberships for these young people and providing continuing support for the members of this program.
